democrats argue over texas delegates
I was listening to The Bryant Park Project and hearing about the democratic party freaking out about how Texas will be split. This is craziness. The democrats as a whole need to stop with the bickering and start talking about real issues.
2008 has to be one of the, if not the easiest elections to have a democrat elected. You have the war in Iraq, the economy that has been driven into the ground and national health care as big issues just to name a few. With all of that and the growing disapproval of president Bush it would be very very difficult for a democrat to lose this election.
The democratic party has to understand that America as a whole is afraid of having a black guy or a woman as President. I’m not saying that it will not happen but I do think that lots of Americans are at least still racist at heart. America likes to vote for old white men. There is a proven record of that.
I hope the bickering quites down soon and we can start to get to real issues. That may be too much to ask though.
After all, in the 2004 elections I would have voted for an inanimate object over Bush but we see how well that election went.

I for one think it just goes to prove they have no clue what is good for this country. They haven’t as a party in years. I do not think it is a racist or sexist thing with most of America.
If the black candidate was anywhere in the realm of mainstream America’s values and views then it might mean something. He is an amateur. He is without a clue about foreign policy, war, terrorism, economics, and is a race baiting asshat. Period.
Hillary is the devil and has been telling lies for so long she wouldn’t know the truth if it bit her in the ass. The problem with Hillary is not that she has a vagina or even that she is a liar. The problem for many people is the fact she is a Clinton. For the last 20 years we have had a clinton or a bush in office. This is a democracy not a aristocracy. We do not pass our leadership to the next person in the family line, be it son, wife, or brother.
Obama reeks of Carter with his obvious socialist leanings and his affinity for terrorist types. I think would should amuse people is the first black candidate we have to take seriously is a black man raised in a white world, an ultra liberal/socialist world. Irony, no?
I will be voting for the old white guy because I have a hard time handing over the reins of my future to a black man who has zero experience in leadership and wants to purposefully lose the war in Iraq, raise my taxes but nearly 2 trillion dollars, and limit my ability to own, buy, use a firearm. Good luck selling that to America red or blue.
I say let em keep bickering. If they hadn’t fucked with their party rules in an effort to ensure their own elite got to choose the candidate, against the will of the people if necessary, then this would be done. You reap what you sow. If i was Hillary I would take this to the bitter end, because after the dust falls she could get the nomination and the rest of the party, regardless of who they wanted to get it will fall in line. Why? Because they are sheep. Pie in the sky, we know what is best for everyone, let Big Brother make your choices for your fascists. No thanks, I’ll keep my liberty.
