Sylvania tv really drives me nuts

I know I just posted about the sylvania tv and I even told myself that I was going to go to bed. I can’t sleep and am laying here and getting upset all over again.

Why is it so hard for Sylvania to make a good quality TV? Did I just get a lemon? Why did it take six months to get a box snipped to me to mail it to them? What did they actually do with and to my TV for the two months they had it?

All of these questions race through my mind and make me so frustrated. I really hope I can get somewhere when I call them tomorrow. I have a feeling they will not be able to find any record of me ever shipping them a TV and them never doing any warranty work on it.

This doesn’t even being up the fact that the TV is now out of warranty because they took six months to get me a box and find my original warrenty request.

Wish me luck dealing with them.

I am really loathing Sylvania right now. I purchased a flat screen 32″ tv about 1 and a half years ago. I went home last night and the thing would not turn on. It is dead. I unplugged it and let it “reset” itself as the user manual states; however, nothing. Again, it is dead. I called Sylvania and because it is outside of one year, they will do nothing. The service repair shop number they gave me will charge $75 just to diagnose the problem. I mean really! The company doesn’t seem to stand by its name now does it? I would urge you all not to purchase a Sylvania product. I will no longer be!

    Thanks!
